THE ultimate spin challenge is being held at Great Sankey Leisure Centre to help raise money for St Rocco’s Hospice.
LiveWire’s first ever 12 hour Spinathon will be held on Saturday November 30, starting in the Theatre Area at 8.30am.
Paul Oloughlin, Duty Manager of Great Sankey Leisure Centre said: “We wanted to do something that involved the whole community including local residents of Great Sankey, Chappelford and Penketh to raise funds for LiveWire’s charity of the year – St Rocco’s Hospice. At the moment we have 20 people signed up for various slots throughout the day, but with 23 bikes available there are still spaces for lots more people to get involved!”
If cycling isn’t your thing, the site will also be offering other activities including; swimming, badminton and trampolining throughout the day, for the whole family to try.
