LIVEWIRE will be holding its first Christmas Fayre on Sunday 24th November, from 11am – 4pm, as Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, is turned into a winter wonderland.
The event is free and will see over 30 craft, gift and food stalls selling; jewellery, games, toys, plants, cloths and sweets with tombola’s and children’s face painting, offering something for all the family and providing the perfect opportunity to purchase personalised gifts and those special stocking fillers to get you set for Christmas Day.
Santa’s little helpers have also been very busy creating a very special Christmas Grotto for Father Christmas who will be visiting on the day, to talk to the girls and boys of Warrington about their Christmas wish lists.
The Fayre will be officially opened by Deputy Mayor Councillor Ted Finnegan with local choirs, Wired and pupils from William Beamont Academy singing Carols throughout the day to to get you into the Christmas spirit. There will also be free Tennis taster sessions from LiveWire’s Activate Tennis Programme, from 11am – 12pm for children aged 4 – 8years and 12pm – 1pm for 8 -10 years.
Ivan Baracskai, LiveWire’s Area Leisure manger said: “We are really excited to host LiveWire’s first Christmas Fayre at our newest facility and hope it will be one of many. The day will provide activities and fun for all the family to get into the Christmas spirit, whilst parents can catch up on a bit of Christmas shopping in a warm festive environment.”
