WARRINGTON Collegiate and the recently launched Future Tech Studio School are looking for two candidates to join the Board of Governors, one for each academic institution.
Paul Hafren, Principal of Warrington Collegiate said: “We are looking to recruit two governors, passionate about the future of these two academic institutions and the exciting new opportunities in education today. The post for the college needs a person dedicated to supporting the strategic vision of the college on its journey to becoming outstanding by Ofsted. For Future Tech Studio School the post demands someone who is looking for the challenge of a brand new pioneering brand of education and willing to support the official opening in September 2014 and future developments.”
Ideally the role requires expertise in any the following areas including Law, Business & Enterprise, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource or knowledge in School or College curriculum. Experience with education is also required, enthusiasm and a willingness to dedicate time to attend meetings and training sessions. The college also welcomes candidates who have other skills, and feel they have the experience or a degree of interest to contribute to the future success of Warrington Collegiate or the Future Tech Studio.
If you feel one of these roles is suitable for you and you would like to find out more information, there is a Governor Information Event on Tuesday 26th November from 6.00pm-7.30pm, at Buckley’s Restaurant, Warrington Collegiate.
There will be a short presentation detailing the duties of the two positions by an existing Governor and you will also be given the chance to ask any questions regarding the two roles.
You can register online for the event:- www.warrington.ac.uk/about/governors. Alternatively please e-mail [email protected] or phone 01925 494434 to confirm your attendance.
