Speak out for youth

CHESHIRE youth ambassador Dominic Rogers would like young people from Warrington to join his SpeakOut group.
Membership will allow young people to give Dominic their views and opinions on policing and crime.
They will be able to communicate through an online/virtual group and meet with Dominic to discuss topics and opinions in more detail.
Dominic said: “SpeakOut is an opportunity for young people to actively get involved in the policing and safety in their area and represent their own communities.
“It is my job to listen and represent young people’s views to the Police and Crime Commissioner, and by setting up this group I’m providing youngsters a new outlet to give me their opinions. This will help me to do my job effectively and efficiently, when it comes to shaping policing services.”
Anyone joining SpeakOut may be expected to complete postal surveys, arrange group discussions to explore opinions and ideas in more detail, get involved in making suggestions for improvement or get involved in local policing events.
