BUSINESS chiefs in Warrington are being urged to get behind the Rugby League World Cup when it comes to town later this month.
After two years of bidding and build-up, Warrington is now ready and eagerly anticipating the tournament and the arrival of the Samoan national team.
Companies are being demonstrate a clear “Welcome Samoa” message on websites, social media, on buildings and more.
A package of promotional materials has been developed for local organisations to use to dress shops, businesses and schools to welcome Samoa.
Items can be personalised to suit the needs of each business or company and logos can be added.
Steve Park, managing director of regeneration group Warrington & Co said “This is a great opportunity for the business community to show their support for Samoa and Warrington and get behind the campaign in its crucial run up.
“The games will be a great international showcase for the town and businesses who sponsor”.
Materials range from posters, to vinyl banners to free web banners – and more items can be requested.

The competition kicks off when Samoa take on current champions New Zealand at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday October 27.
