A GROUP of volunteers are planning a big clean up in Alexandra Park, Stockton Heath, tomorrow (Saturday).
The group is organised by Jon and Becky Curtis from the church groups known as The Hive and Life Church.
Warrington Borough Council has come forward with a loan of equipment for the day and Stockton Heath Parish Council is looking at providing funding for the group to acquire their own litter picking tools.
Jon and Becky said: “We hope to do a pick every month. We can’t guarantee how many of us will turn up because we rely on volunteers. But it’s something we enjoy doing and we are keen to keep our community clean and tidy.”
