Appeal after fire deliberately started

POLICE and fire services are appealing for information from the public after fire broke out on land off Admiral’s Road, Birchwood, Warrington.
The fire involved a quantity of rubbish, but it is believed it was started deliberately.
Fire crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish it.
Anyone who can help is asked to call police on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111.
*Fire crews helped release a man trapped in a vehicle which had been involved in a collision in Lovely Lane, Warrington.
The victim was then handed over to paramedics and taken to hospital.
