FIRE crews from Warrington were called to a house when a smoke alarm activated – only to find the cause was burnt food.
The incident was at a house in Prestbury Drive, Thelwall but there was no fire – just burnt food in the kitchen.
All persons at the address were accounted for and crews carried out a home safety assessment before leaving
