Mobile classrooms approved

PLANS for a double classroom mobile unit at Woolston Primary School, in Hall Road, Woolston, have been given the go-ahead by Warrington’s planning committee.
The buildings will be used to provide accommodation for the pre-school and link club.
Planning officers say the development will not be harmful to the setting, a plastic coasted plywood fascia and the roof would have the potential to deteriorate over time due to the weather.
As a result planning consent should be limited to three years after which it could be renewed provided the building was still adequately maintained.
It was not expected the additional classrooms would result in any additional noise or disturbance.
