CIRCUS Starr – “the circus with a purpose” – visits Warrington next week to give 1,000 local children and their parents a free show.
The circus will be staging its Big Top show in Church Street on Monday (September 23).
Circus Starr is a not-for-profit-community interest company which puts on world-class acts for vulnerable, disabled and disadvantaged children.
Local businesses have bought tickets as part of Circus Starr unique donated ticket programme and these have been allocated to a wide range of local children’s services, schools and community groups.
Director Neville Wilson said: “We are always stunned by the fantastic support we receive from the Warrington businesses and the warm welcome we are given from the entire community each year.
“We are very much looking forward to hosting our circus show here later this year.”
Circus Starr tours three times a year in 75 venues and provides free tickets worth more than £1.3 million a year to children, their families and community groups.
