MEMBERS of the public will be offered free blood pressure checks, advice and information if they attend the annual meeting of Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Trust – the body responsible for community health care in Warrington.
The meeting will start with a “market place” where information on a range of services including district nursing, oral health,
heart health, health trainers, psychological therapies and learning disability services will be available.
Also present will be the Council for Voluntary Services and event sponsors Medical Physics International and Scan Mobility.
The market place will start at 4pm with the formal AGM following at 5pm at Haydock Park Racecourse.
A buffet will be provided after the formal business of the AGM has concluded and there will be another opportunity to view the stalls and speak to health professionals.
Bridgewater chairman Harry Holden said: “Our AGM is a good opportunity for people to come and talk to us, receive a free blood pressure check, some health advice and find out a bit more about what we do. We also welcome questions from members of the public about our services and our plans for the future.”
The AGM will be preceded by a Members Meeting from 2.30pm to 4pm.
