IT’S only September – but arrangements are already being made for this year’s “Santa Dash” to raise money for the Brainwave Centre at Birchwood, Warrington.
The event takes place on Sunday, December 8 and will involve a 5k “dash” open to all ages and starting at 10am.
There will also be a 1k children’s Santa Parade, led by Father Christmas himself.
The Birchwood Santa Dash costs £10 per adult and £5.00 per child. The entry fee for the Dash covers the cost of a three-piece Santa outfit and the children’s fee covers the cost of a Santa hat.
The 1km Children’s Santa Parade costs £10 per family of five.
The funds raised from the Dash will contribute towards the cost of the Brainwave Centre, which supports children across the North West who have disabilities and developmental delay, assisting them to achieve life changing skills and greater independence.
