A NUMBER of road and footpath closures will come into force at Warrington on Monday, September 30 to enable carriageway resurfacing to take place.
Chester Road, Stockton Heath, from its junction with Ackers Road to its junction with Hilltop Road, Grappenhall, will be affected by a prohibition of driving order and footpath closure.
Other roads to be affected are Brian Avenue, Denbury Avenue, Summerville Gardens, Ackers Road and Fairfield Road.
The work is expected to last about six weeks and will be carried out in phases to minimise disruption of traffic.
The restrictions will be in place as and when signs are in place on site and alternative routes will be signposted.
