Second fire at old school

POLICE are investigating after a second fire at a derelict school building at Warrington within the space of a week.
The blaze was at the old Horizon School building off Loushers Lane.
Firefighters from Stockton Heath were called to the scene and use a hose reel jet to put out the fire. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for further hotspots.
Crews then damped down the whole area.
A similar fire broke out in the same building a week ago when fire engines from Stockton Heath and Warrington were called to the scene.
Anyone who has information about either fire should call police on 101 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
