Radio General opens its doors

RADIO General will be opening its doors to the public as part of Warrington Hospital’s Open Day this Saturday, August 31.
The hospital radio’s studios are situated in the main entrance, and people will be able to see behind the scenes of the station.
Keith Inman, Radio General’s Secretary, said: “The Open Day will enable members of the public the see the station which in 2012 celebrated 55 years of the music request service and this year is celebrating 60 years of broadcasting rugby commentaries of the Warrington Wolves games to the patients.”
The station will be broadcasting live coverage of the event from 12:00–3:00 pm.
