SUMMER will go out with a bang at the last Victoria Park experience (VPX) festival as Rugby League World Cup fever takes over!
There will be a special rugby roadshow at the last festival, on Tuesday (August 27)organised by local Community Police officers Thomas Reid and Tony Spruce, with lots of rugby themed activities including a touch rugby match, mini-rugby and player appearances from the Warrington Wolves.
There will also be chance to catch a glimpse of the prestigious Rugby League World Cup 2013 trophy!
Other activities on offer include rugby, football, face painting, dance, obstacle course, skate boarding, archery, crafts, Sure Start activities, Change 4 Life displays and a bouncy castle.
The summer festivals have been a huge hit, with last week’s event at Victoria Park attracting over 900 people.
