Blaze at derelict school building

FIRE crews from Warrington and Stockton Heath were called out to deal with a blaze at a derelict school building.
The fire was at the old Horizon School, on Secker Avenue, Wilderspool and involved a quantity of rubbish inside the building.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.

  1. That’s the second time in a week that the fire brigade have been to that building to put a fire out. The people who own it should make sure it’s more secure so people can’t get in !
