BUS company Network Warrington have unveiled a new mobile-friendly website – specially designed to cater for people who want to access travel information while on the move.
The website has been developed by award-winning digital development agency, Studio Mashbo – and it’s paid off already with 54 per cent of visitors accessing the site from smartphone devices.
Marketing executive Natalie Kissack said: “We needed to redesign our website and rethink our online communications in order for our customers to access bus information easily.
“We also wanted to attract new customers who may not be as familiar with our bus services.
“In the future, we’re looking to introduce a host of new, innovative features and we’re confident that we’ve found the right agency to partner with in Studio Mashbo.”
Managing director of Studio Mashbo, Gavin Sherratt said: “During the briefing sessions, we had a clear focus. We knew we needed to cater for a mobile audience, as more people are turning to mobile devices to find out travel information.
“Devices like iPhones are a modern day essential. It’s important that public transport companies engage with their passengers through this medium.
“As a digital agency, we are open to ideas and research opportunities to help the public transport sector get more digitally engaged.”
Studio Mashbo will be working closely with Network Warrington’s marketing partners, Kaleidoscope.
