WARRINGTON’S leading arts organisation is to hold its first annual general meeting on Tuesday, September 3.
Culture Warrington will meet at the Pyramid Arts Centre from 6.30-8.30pm.
Residents are invited to attend the meeting when there will be an opportunity to receive copies of the company’s business plan as well as review information for the past year and the chance to ask any questions regarding the direction the business will take in the future.
Culture Warrington chairman Maureen Banner, a former borough councillor, will lead the meeting and members of the Culture Warrington board and staff will be in attendance.
Following the formal business of the meeting, managing director Jan Souness will present the highlights of the organisation’s first year of operation and then there will be an opportunity to socialise with refreshments provided.
Culture Warrington is responsible for the Parr Hall, Pyramid Arts Centre, Warrington Museum and Art Gallery and a range of cultural, heritage and arts activities across the borough.
