Dog attack pair arrested

TWO people who failed to appear in court today following a fatal dog attack in Warrington earlier this month have been arrested.
Police said the pair, David Savage and Susan Campbell, both aged 44, were arrested in Warrington this afternoon and were being held in custody pending an appearance at Halton Magistrates Court, Runcorn, tomorrow.
Magistrates had earlier issued an warrant for their arrest when they failed to appear in court this morning.
The pair have been summonsed for being the owner or person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control in a public place.
The summonse relates to an incident when a Staffordshire Bull Terrier attacked and killed a Pomeranian dog named Elvis earlier this month on Kingsway South.
