Bus company launches ‘Happy Sundays’!

LOCAL bus company Network Warrington is launching a special “Happy Sundays” service from August 4 to September 15.
Starting this weekend all evening bus services will be extended by approximately two hours on Sundays and bank holidays. Plus, it’s only £1 per single journey and 70p for kids, anywhere you want to go on the network.
These changes are all part of Network Warrington’s initiative to encourage people to get out and about this summer and enjoy what our town has to offer.
Network Warrington Chair Maureen Banner, (pictured) said “It’s clear from customer feedback that people want extended Sunday services so in response we have decided to trial it for a six week period. If it’s successful we will consider providing an improved Sunday evening service.”
