Bug farm takes over Golden Square

GOLDEN Square Shopping Centre was taken over by creepy crawlies for a “Bug Your Parents” event.
Children and parents got up close and personal with weird and wonderful insects from around the world as a bug farm came to town.
Ian Cox, General Manager at Golden Square, said: “The bug farm was another fantastic event for our ‘Bug Your Parents’ month and proved to be a hit for both children and parents alike!”
Children have previously taken part in craft workshops making 3D insects and decorating bug masks. The final week of insect activities will take place this Saturday 27 July, 11am-4pm, and children will get the chance to make their very own bug wind chimes.
