Woman trapped in crash car

A WOMAN was trapped in her car after a collision on Canons Road, Warrington.
Fire crews were called to the scene and had to use special cutting equipment to free her.
She was then handed over to the ambulance service and taken to hospital.
In a separate incident, firefighters were called to a fire in the garden of a house on Hamsterley Close, Gorse Covert, Warrington.
They found a fire involving a quantity of rubbish had spread to a gazebo.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the blaze.
