LYMM brothers James and Alex Mitchell have both earned international recognition with England in their respective age groups this year.
James, a fly half and scrum half, was part of the England squad that won the U18 European Championship, defeating France 27-22, while Alex appeared for the Under 16s against Italy and Wales.
Both are products of the mini, junior and colts section of Lymm RFC and Lymm High School.
Andy Leach, head of the Lymm mini, junior and colts section, said: “Ben and Tom Youngs are not the only brothers to play for England this season. The talent coming through Lymm at all grass roots levels is staggering.
“James and Alex are both gifted players and work exceptionally hard. Having both played at Lymm RFC since they were six years old, we are naturally tremendously proud of them and I am confident they can go all the way.”
England international and current Saracens winger David Strettle is the most high-profile product of the Lymm system.
