WOOLSTON Rovers will be looking to get back to winning ways when they entertain Featherstone Lions in the National Conference League Division Three on Saturday afternoon.
Rovers have suffered back to back away defeats at Kells and Underbank Rangers respectively, but despite this confidence in the camp is still very high and they will be looking to put in a good performance against a Lions side who have not had the best of starts so far this term.
Rovers Head Coach Mike Grady said: “We will be looking to improve our completion rate this weekend and if we can do that they we are very capable of scoring some fine tries. We will give the Lions full respect and prepare for what could be a tricky game.
“They have struggled early on due to the unavailability of some of their star players but they could well be back for this week so we will have to make sure that we are at our best as we attempt to get a vital victory to get us back on track.
“The spirit within the club is very good and I am certain that if we perform as we are capable of then we will get the win.”
Kick off is 2.30pm at Monks Sports Club, Hillock Lane, Woolston.
