Pupils to become published authors

A GROUP of Year 7 pupils at Warrington’s Sir Thomas Boteler CE High School are to become published authors.
Alice Davies, Thomas Berry, Bethany Antrobus, Macey Palmer and Kerryn Warburton all entered a nationwide competition for a poem or story about travel or adventure.
The piece had to be no longer than 80 words.
All five pupils were successful – and their efforts will be published in an anthology of work schools around the country to be called “Around the World in 80 words.”
The book will be available for pupils to read in the school library from next term.
