APPRENTICESHIPS, jobs, and career advice will be on offer in Warrington next week as part of National Apprenticeship Week.
Warrington Borough council is encouraging young people to go along and see what is on offer at the Careers for Young People Centre in Time Square.

Every day between 1-4pm, employers and training providers who are currently recruiting for real jobs and apprenticeships will be present.
Each day will be themed and will focus on a different sector of the jobs market and there will be a chance to apply for opportunities directly with employers.
Timetable for the week is:
Monday (March 11): Hospitality and catering. Tuesday: Engineering and manufacturing. Wednesday: Care. Thursday: Business and IT. Friday: Floristry and horticulture.
Education and employment support officers and advisers will also be on hand to help individuals with CVs and applications.
Cllr Terry O’Neill, leader of the council, said: “Apprentices have a major part to play in the future of our local economy and the skills they bring can help businesses to develop, be successful and grow.
“This is an excellent opportunity for young people to come along to see what apprenticeships can offer. As a former apprentice myself, I cannot emphasise enough what apprenticeships have done for me and my career.”
Every young person who attends and completes a feedback questionnaire will be entered into a free prize draw with the opportunity to win Golden Square Shopping Centre vouchers.
More details are available on the council’s website, www.careersforyoungpeople.co.uk or by calling the careers team 01925 424900.
