Rotary host charity concert

LYMM Rotary Club will be hosting an “Evening of Popular Classical Music” at Warrington’s Parr Hall, on Friday April 26.
Included in the programme will be favourites from the World of Light Opera, Songs from the Shows and a Last Night at the Proms Finale.
International Violin Virtuoso, Craig Owen and Band, are starring plus Soprano, Louise Taylor.
There will be young musicians from Lymm High School, Little Bollington Primary School African Drum Band and dancers from Little Stars Dance Academy, together with other talented musicians. This event gives young people an opportunity to appear alongside professionals and gives them confidence and encouragement to continue performing.
Malcolm Kindon from St. Rocco’s has agreed to host the evening, the proceeds from which will go to St. Rocco’s Hospice.
The concert will start at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6.30 p.m.) Tickets are £10 each and are available from the Parr Hall Box Office (01925) 442345.
