TRADERS on Warrington Market have gone viral on the internet with their version of latest internet dance craze the Harlem Shake!
Their YouTube video has been viewed over 31 000 times after traders decided to respond to the horsemeat scandal in this fun way in a bid to encourage more people to head to the market and use their local butchers.
Cllr Mike Hannon, deputy leader of the council, took part in the video and said: “The video shows people that Warrington Market really knows how to have fun and we hope this encourages residents to pop in and see what’s on offer from their local market. We have been really pleased with all the positive comments so far and thank residents for taking part!”
The market now joins the likes of the cast and crew of Eastenders, Manchester City Football Club and the English National Ballet company who have all ‘done the shake.’
