WARRINGTON’S Pyramid & Parr Hall is set to rock with the return of “the world’s greatest” AC/DC tribute band Live/Wire!
Supported by the The ZZ Tops Live/Wire will be shaking the Parr Hall foundations for one night only on Friday, September 13 on their “For Those about to Rock” 2013 tour.
Live/Wire are a unique six-man tribute to one of rock’s greatest bands, AC/DC, complete with trademark cannons, a wall of Marshalls, and two hours of high voltage rock and roll.
The band cover both eras of AC/DC’s 40 years of success, featuring both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. Expect sublime playing, infinite energy, brilliant talent, and dedication as the rhythm section keeps it all meticulously together giving Ash (portraying Angus Young) the freedom to mesmerise the audience with this thundering freight train of rock.
Live/Wire promise hit after hit including ‘Back in Black’, ‘Highway to Hell’, and ‘Thunderstruck’ to name a few. The songs go on and on until the cannons fire ceremoniously to bring the evening to a superb crescendo. If you’re still standing by this time…we salute you!
The band will be supported by The ZZ Tops, called ‘the closest tribute I’ve seen’ by ZZ Top lead vocalist Billy Gibbons himself.
Tickets for the “rock ‘n’ roll train” for a night to remember are expected to sell out fast!
