POLICE have confirmed that a body found in the Manchester Ship Canal

at Latchford Locks is that of missing Warrington teenager Nathan

Taylor.
Police divers discovered the teenagers body yesterday (Friday) afternoon after new CCTV footage came to light showing Nathan in the area.
Officers have been trawling through hundreds of hours of CCTV obtained from businesses, shops, industrial premises and private homes in the Latchford and Kingsway areas for clues as to Nathan’s whereabouts.
Nathan, aged 18, a Warrington Collegiate media student from Padgate, was reported missing by his family last weekend after failing to return to home from a birthday party at the Bridge Bar in Latchford.
Friends and fellow students mounted a huge campaign to try and trace the popular youngster which has been ongoing throughout the week.
Police say there were no suspicious circumstances and the coroner has been informed.
