WARRINGTON South MP David Mowat showed his support for the town’s business community by attending an event for small firms looking to expand in 2013. 
The breakfast seminar was hosted by Warrington-based ClearSky HR, which specialises in offering human resources and employment law advice to small businesses.
The event, entitled ‘Top HR tips for growing businesses’, took place at the De Vere Village Hotel, Centre Park.
Juliet Byrne, legal advisor at ClearSky HR and a specialist in employment law, delivered a presentation covering everything from advertising job vacancies and recruitment to absence management and disciplinary procedures.
Attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions and raise specific HR concerns.
Mr Mowat said: “The seminar proved to be an interesting and informative session.
“As a former accountant and business person, I always enjoy meeting business owners and finding out more about their concerns and aspirations.
“I would definitely recommend ClearSky HR’s seminars to small businesses in and around Warrington.”
