Woman attacked in own home

POLICE at Warrington are appealing for witnesses after a woman was attacked by three men who forced their way into her home and stole property.
She suffered minor injuries to her face in the attack and was left badly shocked.
The incident was at Lymm at about 7.30pm on Monday.
Two television sets, a mobile phone and a laptop were stolen in the raid.
The 47-year-old woman answered a knock on her door and three men forced their way in an punched her in the face.
One of the men stood over her while the other two searched the house and stole the property.
Afterwards they fled the scene and later the televisions were found by a member of the public outside All Saints Church at Thelwall.
DC Neil Radley said: “This type of crime is rare in Lymm and we have been providing reassurance in the area.
“In order to help us with our investigation I would urge anyone with information to contact police.”
One man was aged 22-24, about 5ft 7 inches tall and of slim build. He was wearing a red and black hooded jacket.
The second man was 20-25, about 6ft tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a bright blue tracksuit top, darker blue tracksuit bottoms and a black balaclava.
A third man was also about 6ft tall, of slim build and was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms, a black hoody and a scarf covering his face.
