Man robbed near bank

A MAN was attacked and robbed as he walked towards a Warrington bank carrying cash.
The robbery was in Poplars Avenue, Orford, near to Lloyds Bank.
It was at about 1pm on Monday, January 7 and the victim, a 22-year-old man, was carrying the cash in an envelope.
After assaulting him and snatching the envelope, the offender ran off along Poplars Avenue. No weapon was used but the victim suffered minor injuries to his face.
Police said today that the attacker was aged 20-35, about 5t 10 inches tall and of slim build. He had short dark brown hair and was wearing a grey t-shirt.
