Appeal following Latchford robbery

POLICE are appealing for information following a robbery at the Grange Sports and Social Club in Latchford, Warrington.

The robbery took place between 5.50am and 6.20am on Tuesday, January 8, when offenders forced their way into the club on Grange Avenue and demanded access to the safe.
A member of staff complied with their demands and the offenders proceeded to steal a quantity of cash before fleeing the scene.
There are believed to have been one or two men involved.
The first man is described as being aged between 25 and 35. He was wearing dark clothes, had his face covered and spoke with a local accent.
A description of the second man is not available.
Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 92 of 8 January 2013.
