Police hunt for KFC robbers

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a gang of three men, including one armed with a knife, robbed a KFC fast food restaurant in Warrington on Saturday night (Dec 29).
The robbery took place at 10.15pm when the three men, two of whom concealed their faces forced their way through a fire exit door of KFC on Alban Retail Park, Winwick Road.
The men entered staff quarters and stole cash takings.
One of the men was armed with a small knife. Thankfully despite threats being made, nobody was injured.
Police are examining CCTV from the scene and are keen to speak to anyone in the area at the time who may have information that could assist the investigation, to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 973 of 29.12.12
