Budget consultation to continue

0

WARRINGTON Borough Council’s public consultation into its 2013-14 budget is continuing until Friday, January 11.
The council has to identify around £12 million savings next year, following further reductions in central funding.
This comes on top of the £32 million worth of savings already made since 2010.
The consultation began some time ago but the exact details of the borough’s financial settlement for next year are still being examined.
This exercise will run until Friday January 11 so there is still time for residents of Warrington, businesses, users of the council services, partners and other groups to share their thoughts and views on the website [email protected]
Copies of the budget book can also be picked up in council buildings and comments returned to Budget Consultation 2013/14, Freepost, Warrington Borough Council, Lower Ground floor, Newtown House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, WA1 2NH.
