A MAN was arrested after Cheshire police carried out a stop-check on the M6 near Warrington.
Officers searched a white Mercedes van stopped on the southbound carriageway and seized what is believed to a quantity of cannabis.
The 46-year-old driver was arrested and was handed over to Merseyside Police for questioning.
