THREE men armed with knives burst into a house at Warrington in the early hours of the morning, threatened the occupants and stole computer equipment.
The occupants, a 28-year-old man and his parents, were left badly shaken but unharmed after the burglary.
Now police are appealing for witnesses of the raid which took place at 2am on Thursday, November 8 at a house in Thynne Street.
The family were awoken by a disturbance downstairs and two men wearing scarves over their faces entered the parents’ bedroom, brandishing a knife, and demanded money.
A third man went into the son’s bedroom, also wielding a knife, and also demanding money.
The offenders later left the property taking computer equipment.
Police say the raiders were in their late teens and between 5ft 2 inches and 5ft 9 inches tall. They were all wearing dark clothing and spoke with Merseyside accents.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Thynne Street area, or who has any information about the incident is asked to call DC Laura Sadler on 101 or the confidential Crimestoppers hotline 0800 555 111.
