POETRY fans in Warrington can celebrate National Poetry Day in style as Jamaican born poet and novelist Kei Miller visits Warrington Library for a free event on Friday, October 5 at 7pm.
Miller is the author of three published poetry collections: Kingdom of Empty Bellies, There is an Anger that Moves, and A Light Song of Light. His novels are highly regarded, with his first collection of short fiction, The Fear of Stories, shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers First Book Prize
In this special one off appearance to celebrate National Poetry Day 2012 and re-launch Warrington Libraries monthly Poetry evening, Kei will be reading a selection of
his poetry and discussing and answering questions on his work and inspiration.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see Miller live in Warrington. Tickets are free and available from any of LiveWire’s 11 libraries situated throughout Warrington.
Alongside Kei Millers visit, in the run up to National Poetry Day on the October 4 LiveWire will be will be releasing poems onto the streets of Warrington as part of the
