Tools theft

POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of tools from a parked van in Penketh, Warrington.
The white van was parked on Warrington Road in Penketh, between the Red Lion pub and the Co-Op, and was broken into between 4.30pm and 6.10pm on Sunday, September 16.
The rear sliding door was forced open and bags containing various tools were stolen.
Police are keen to trace a man who was seen in the area around the time the offence was committed.
He is described as being 5?3″ tall, of stocky build with dark hair. He was wearing a blue waterproof jacket with a blue stripe and was possibly driving a blue Ford car.
Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 866 of 16 September 2012.
