Jewellery stolen in house raid

BURGLARS have stolen jewellery – including items of sentimental value – from a house at Warrington
The items included a limited edition gold Adidas watch and were stolen in a raid on a house in the Oakwood area of Risley.
Thieves also took electrical goods from the house in the raid on July 10, some time between 8am and 5.15pm.
The watch is an Adidas 40th anniversary edition gold watchwith a yellow face.
The items, which belong to a 37-year-old woman, also include a rose gold engagement ring with five diamonds – the victim grandmother’s engagement ring and a gold ring with a pearl and chipped diamonds which was an 18th birthday gift.
DC Stephen Page said: “These items of jewellery are of great sentimental value to their owner and their theft has caused a significant amount of distress for the victim. We are doing everything we can to trace the items and return them to their rightful owner.
“We are currently following up a number of lines of enquiry and are appealing to anyone who has any information, which might assist with our enquiries, or knows who is responsible to come forward.
“We are also appealing to anyone who has any information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen items or anyone who is offered any jewellery similar to the items mentioned to get in touch.”
