Man attacked at music festival

A 38-year-old man was taken to hospital after being attacked at the Glastonferry music festival at the Ferry Inn, near Penketh, Warrington.
Police are today appealing for witnesses of the incident which occurred around 10.45pm and left the victim with bruising, swelling and a perforated ear drum.
He is now suffering from impeded hearing.
Police said the victim was involved in an argument near to the main stage and was then attacked.
Two people were arrested after the incident – one of them the victim – and caution for public order offences.
Police suspect a third person may have been involved in the incident and are asking anyone who witnessed the attack to call them on 101.
