Holiday club open to all

AN open access holiday club is to be run by Warrington Youth Club during the school summer holidays.
The club will be at the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Young People’s Peace Centre at Great Sankey from Wednesday, July 25 to Friday, August 31, excluding Bank Holidays and weekends.
It will be open from 8am to6pm.
Fully qualified, CRB cleared staff will be providing a wide range of exciting, challenging fun activities for all ages and interests.
These will include non contact boxing and sparring, football, dodgeball, arts and crafts, a climbing tower and archery, tag rugby, kids Zumba, street dance, tug-of-war, talent shows, rice crispy cake-making and biscuit decorating, talent shows, film clubs, birds of prey displays and more.
The holiday club will be open for children and young people in the 7-18 age group – and up to 25 for young people with disabilities.
Cost for a full day – 8am to 6pm – is £7.50 per child, including a breakfast of toast, cereal and drinks.
For a 10am-6pm day, the cost is £5 per child.
Children can take packed lunches, but hot meals will also be available at a subsidised rate.
Club leaders recommend booking in advance, as numbers are limited. However, bookings can still be taken each day.
Booking forms can be downloaded from the website www.warringtonyouthclub.co.uk/site/index.php.m) and booking sessions are being held at the Peace Centre on Saturday, July 7 (10am to 12 noon), Wednesday evenings, July 4 and 11 from 6.30pm to 8pm or alternatively visit the club during term-time on Mondays or Wednesdays, 3pm to 5pm.
