LOCAL bus company Network Warrington has won the Industry Best Practice Award at the North West Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Awards in Knutsford.
It was the first time that the town’s bus company has entered the awards, which celebrate excellence in the logistics and passenger transport industries. It was the only bus company to have qualified for the finals.
Managing director David Squire said “We are delighted to have received this award, from such a prestigious body.
“The judging panel were impressed by our submission, which described the company’s modernisation process, and showcased some of the results that the company is already seeing, such as achieving customer service excellence and winning green bus fund funding to assist in the purchase of our first diesel – electric hybrid buses.”
