WARRINGTON digital creative agency Carpe Diem is celebrating after achieving success at a national marketing awards ceremony.
Carpe Diem lifted the award for Best Digital Agency On Budget in the Recommended Agency Register (RAR) 2012 Awards, beating off competition from ten other finalists in the ‘Under 30 Staff’ category.
And Carpe Diem then went on be awarded the runners-up spot in the overall Grand Prix final of the event. The Grand Prix winners are chosen from the Top 100 RAR recommended advertising, PR and digital agencies across the UK.
The RAR Awards are one of the UK’s most respected marketing industry awards schemes because winners are chosen based on feedback from clients. They paint a genuine picture of the results that agencies are achieving.
The RAR collects over 5,000 client ‘ratings’ every year and then assesses each agency’s creativity, value for money and service levels.
“Winning these awards means a huge amount to us because they are based on what our clients think of our work and the quality of services we deliver.” said Carpe Diem managing director Bill Carr.
The awards were presented at a glittering awards ceremony held at the Bloomsbury Hotel in London.
“The funny thing is that we had nearly left the award ceremony when the Grand Prix award was announced, as we were late for our train back to Warrington and the ceremony had overrun greatly,” added Bill.
“We were really pleased to have won the On Budget category. Being recognised as one of the overall Grand Prix winners was a real surprise. I hope we didn’t look too shocked!”
Carpe Diem specialises in digital marketing, back end development and web design. Sportswear brand ASICS, The Ombudsman Service for Energy, Communication, Property and Copyright and international food manufacturer Dr Oetker are among the agency’s high profile clients.
