Glass attack in pub

POLICE are seeking witnesses after a young man required stitches to his head after being assaulted at a bar in Warrington.
The 20-year-old was in Show Bar on Academy Way at around 2.20am on Saturday April 14, when he was hit over the head by a glass object.
The victim was taken to hospital where he received stitches to a 3 inch cut.
The offender is described as white, aged in his 20?s, around 6ft tall, with short dark hair.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding and has been bailed until July 9 pending further inquiries.
Anyone with any information about the assault is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 117 of 14 April or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
