A SPECIAL garden party to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee will be held by St Cross Church, Appleton Thorn and St Matthew’s Church, Stretton, on Saturday, June 2 between 2pm and 5pm
Admission will be free to the celebration on the lawns at the Vicarage in Stretton Road, Stretton.
There will be tea, cakes and sandwiches, an optional fancy dress competition for children, fancy hat parade and children’s crafts and games and a themed quiz.
