GLAZEBURY Gala takes place on Saturday July 14 and plans are already being made.
As usual, the Gala Queen’s cars, etc, will leave from the Raven pub on Warrington Road at about 1.15pm, travelling through the village to arrive at All Saint’s Church at about 1.30pm.
The crowning ceremony will take place in church and at about 2pm the Queen, Retiring Queen and their attendants will move in procession to the playing field at Glazebury CE Primary School.
A wide range of activities will take place on the field during the afternoon.
More details, including the names of the new Queen, attendants, etc, will be made known later.
