Two charged with kidnap

TWO men are to appear at Warrington Crown Court on April 30 charged with kidnap and false imprisonment.
The pair, aged 21 and 30, both from Warrington are in custody following an alleged incident on April 3 in an alleyway, near to Orford Library.
An 18-year-old man sustained bruising to his throat and left cheekbone in the incident, but did not require hospital treatment.
DC Tom Hall, of Warrington CID, said: “We want to reassure members of the local community that we take any incidents of this nature extremely seriously and will do all we can to trace those responsible and ensure they are brought to justice. “Patrols have been stepped up in the area in a bid to reassure local residents and anyone who has any concerns is urged to contact their local neighbourhood policing team.”

  1. doesnt surprise me, police patrols arnt frequent, and the ‘special’ police dont get involved enough in the crimes commited, greenwood crescent and that pub there is rife with all sorts of crime, the police are either scared or not intrested. problably both.
